Strategic advice for boards, executives and governments navigating emerging technologies and national security.

Intro

Dr Hammond-Errey advises global organisations, boards and government agencies on the technology and security challenges that matter most. Her advisory work is delivered through Strat Futures Pty Limited and draws on eighteen years of intelligence community leadership, postdoctoral research and active engagement with the global technology and security community.


Each engagement is bespoke. Advice is evidence-based, operationally grounded and tailored to the specific context of the client.

Board & Executive Advisory

Technology and national security risk is now a board-level issue. Dr Hammond-Errey works with boards and senior executives to build understanding of emerging technology threats and opportunities, including AI, data, cyber, influence operations and geopolitical risk, and to translate that understanding into governance, strategy and decision-making. She is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Government Advisory

Drawing on eighteen years of senior intelligence community leadership, Dr Hammond-Errey advises Ministers, government agencies and departments on national security, emerging technologies, intelligence and policy. She provides threat identification and assessment, capability development, policy analysis and strategic briefings, and has advised at the most senior levels of Australian government and worked with allied partners internationally.

Research & Analysis

Rigorous, evidence-based research and analysis on technology, security and power. Services include threat and horizon assessments, technology impact analysis, policy and strategy development, and tailored publications for specific audiences and outcomes. Research design and method are academically rigorous and evidence based, using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods. Draws on a portfolio of hundreds of classified and unclassified analytical products developed over twenty five years and expertise honed through doctoral, postdoctoral and funded fellowship research. 

Speaking

Dr Hammond-Errey is a sought-after keynote speaker, drawing on operational intelligence leadership, research and direct experience to inform and challenge audiences from a few dozen to thousands. She has spoken at events across Australia and internationally, including SXSW Sydney, the Australian OSINT Symposium and senior policy forums in Australia and allied nations. She has spoken on stages in US, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia. Keynote topics span AI and national security, big data, cognitive warfare, intelligence reform, cognitive readiness and leadership under pressure.


She offers a significantly reduced rate for not-for-profit events.

Professional and Tertiary education

Few educators bring together operational intelligence leadership, postdoctoral research and active advisory practice in the classroom. Dr Hammond-Errey teaches and facilitates across government, defence, intelligence and university settings, currently teaching postgraduate cyber security and emerging technologies at the University of Sydney and adjunct Associate Professor at Deakin University.


She has taught, lectured and facilitated at the Australian War College, Australian Defence Force (specialised joint force, Special Operations and ADFA), Australian Institute of Police Management, Australian National University, University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney, University of New South Wales, Charles Sturt University, Macquarie University and Deakin University, covering intelligence, emerging technologies, leadership, information operations and cyber security, from agency seminars through to residential postgraduate programs. She has also advised and red teamed within Australian intelligence and security agencies.
